  3. The amount of fossil-fuel burning prior to 1940 was negligable compared to the amount of fossil-fuel burning since 1940.  So the answer to your question is: "no".

  6. no. the sun becoming more active again did.

    it has been argued that the mini ice age around the time of the maunder minimum *caused* the industrial revolution. bcuz of the cold climate, ppl took a far greater interest in generating heat and thinking up new things to do with it.
