Did the Jabbawockeez take dance lessons and is it possible to be that good w/o the lessons?

In the first episode, Phi talks about how none of them ever had any formal training. Now, they are all part of several dance crews where they practice. It would help for you to just watch some dvd's or videos on youtube about break dancing if you want to become a b-boy / b-girl. Some people can learn just by watching and mimicking what they see. I don't know if they took lessons or not. But, if you take a lesson once a week and practice a lot you can probably get as good as them in about a year and a half. I noticed that they don't do a lot of the cooler b-boying moves.(1990s, 2000s, halos)  If you don't take lessons it will take about 2-3 years.
