Did the masai (they live in Tanzania and Kenya) ever kill missionaries?

  3. Yap, speared them to the ground alive. Left them for the hyenas to finish them off there.

    Ofcourse not, unless they felt threatened. In Africa they teach that strangers are welcome, if they come in peace. They could be the forefathers.

  5. . Christian missionaries killed off millions of natives by carrying diseases and trying to change people's culture.  Of course some natives fought back.

    Tribes in S.America and the Pacific islands are still knocking off intruding/invading missionaries.

    The Zulus and Mau Mau killed everybody! Especially their own. Still do.

I rather imagine they gracefully and snobbishly as only a pre colonial Maasai could (according to various sources white and african  they tended to regard themselves as superior to just about anyone but other maasai)  and ignored them as  lesser beings until they discovered some of them had useful medical skills and were hence persuaded to visit mission stations.
