sure seems like it, but what i can't figure out is why Favre would want to be somewhere he obviously is not wanted.

  1. The Packers are going to trade him...He had to show up to force the Packers hand.

I think the Packers are making a big mistake letting him come to camp and compete for the starting job, because you know he is better than Aaron Rodgers.

  2. There is no real choice

They could release him, which means they would take a salary cap hit, and Favre could play for a division rival and whip on GB this season.

They could trade him, which is the best option, but time is up for that. {It takes more than a month to learn a whole new playbook and system}.

Or they could welcome him back and let him regain his 2007 form. Besides, if he struggles, put Aaron in.

  3. They did call Minnesota on Friday to says he's available. Don't be surprised if he's a Viking by the end of the week.

  4. The commissioner reinstated Favre, I think the Packers were running out of options. They tried everything they could.

  5. i think the Packers only option now is to keep him...im not sure why but i don't think they can get a deal done in time...

  6. Packers and Favre are confused as to what they want to do if you ask me. Both sides have had their child-like moment in this matter.

  7. Yup - if they were going to take him back and let him start anyway, they could have just done it 4 weeks ago and avoided a lot of hard feelings all around.  Terrible handling of the situation.

  8. It's called narcissism. He doesn't care. It's all about him and the attention paid to him. He doesn't care about the Packers or anything else. All he cares about is Bret Favre.
