Did the Palin pick cost McCain the election?

I think so. He is a moderate pandering to the evangelical base with this VP pick. Without her, I (an Independent) could see myself voting for McCain in November. But not now. Not with her.

Of course not!  He sunk himself, when he said you had to earn at least $5 million dollars to be considered middle class.  She enhanced his chances by relating to the Average American.

I also dislike Palin, I disagree with just about everything she says, but I think she actually is helping McCain, by "Spicing" his campaign up, because lets face it, he is basically a snore to the american people compared to Obama. If the elections were actually about Polotics, then yes I  would say Palin would cost McCain the election, especially on her foregin policy which is basically zero, but unfortunately the election is probably 80-90% Race, Gender, Religon, Age, One Issue, etc...

Geez, I am an Independent as well and actually the opposite of you, I will now vote for McCain because he has Palin.

Couldn't see myself voting for McCain before.

Love Obama, but McCain/Palin ticket is the best ever.
