  1. I dont see why they did it. Battier is a better defender and Tmac is a better scorer. Unless they're planing on trading one of them what was the point?

  2. good trade for the rockets not kings hahaha go rockets!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. This trade could possibly make Rockets a contender.  Without the trade they may just be another team with first round exit.  So I think it's good trade.

  4. They both got a good deal. The Rockets got one of the most tenacious players in the game, and the Sacramento brought home a 1st round pick from this years draft and a future 1st round pick...and Bobby Jackson. The Kings are gearing up for the future while the Rockets want to win now. In 2-3 years, when the Kings are developed everyone on the Rockets is going to be in their early to mid 30's. So for the Rockets it's a good move now, but for the Kings, it's a good move for the future.

  5. I think the trade they made is extremely good for the rockets. Now they have a third all-star player and are in the same league as the Celtics. The Rockets needed another star player in order to keep up with the packed West and this will definately give them the boast they need to get to al least the conference finals against the Lakers. As for the Kings, this move isn't as good, but it's okay. Now the Kings are in position to nab a star player in free agency either now or in the future. It's mostly a good trade for both sides.

  6. i dont think it was a great trade for the kings but then again donte greene might be a future all star he has a lot of potential..bobby jackson is a good veteran and the first round pick might not be anything because the rockets are going to be a really good team, but for the rockets great trade this is just the player they needed there are rumors about allen iverson going to houston for battier and alston also but i think the rockets will be a top 3 team in the west now

  7. No anyone can notice is was a good trade for them, they got ron artest for nothing!, Donte greene(oh woopy he scored 40 stood out in the summer league big whoop!) that 1st round pick will be in the 25-30 area it's a 1 in a 1000 chance that, that selected player will be a good player. Unless this unknown fourth player is a key part of the rockets franchise i doubt it's going to hurt them.

  8. For the Kings and the Rockets I'm starting to think it's a fair deal. I always liked Donte Greene and he is young and loaded with potential.

Losing Artest was both a positive and a negative. We won't be playoff or title contenders for a couple years now but if we're patient we could have a great team soon and Beno is only getting better along with the rest of the team. We have a ton of cap space for 2009 and '10 which are potentially franchise changing free agencies.

The Rockets made a great deal to become immediate competitors. I say they have a shot at a title if they can stay healthy, that is a big IF.

  9. If the trade goes through...then the Kings will get the best of the deal. For one, they are getting rid of a unhappy player and two; they are gaining some decent talent in Donte Green and will be given a 1st Rd Pick. Not bad for the Kings as they need as much help as they can to get back to that dominant form they had a few years back.

  10. I think this turns the Rockets into a team that could possibly beat the Spurs in the division and in the playoffs. I still don't think they can beat Los Angeles or New Orleans. They've got the bench, but I'm not sure if Alston can lead them to the title.

  11. They got the best lockdown defender in the league, and only gave up Bobby Jackson, an unheard of scrub, and a draft pick.  The only way this is a bad trade is if Artest gets into trouble.  Artest has said he respects Adelman, so he may behave.

  12. Donte green is a good asset, but they need to win in the next couple years, so Its a good trade. Bobby Jackson is a good pg with emotional leadership, he was a good fit as a backup in houston, he could be a scrub on most teams. They could still use Artest and Battier, ones more talented and ones more consistent. But now they have an abundance of forwards. A trade wouldnt be a bad idea, but not for Iverson.

  13. Great trade for the Kings- they knew they weren't good enough for the playoffs and now have another 1st round pick.  Rockets are still not good enough to win the playoffs and gave up a 1st round pick with an aging T-Mac, Artest, and Yao.
