  1. No the concept of Karma originated in India.

Karma is not a "moral" It's about cause and consequences.

  2. They taught that it can be deadly when your Karma hits your Dogma!

  3. Nope. Generally all punishments were stored up for the afterlife, you got punished in Hades or sent to the blissful Elysium in Greek legends (although Hades wasn't technically like a h**l, it's just a place of ghosts for most people).

Sometimes you see people getting their come-uppance in this lifetime, or rewarded for being kind to a god masquerading as a human. But generally no concept of karma. This really come into play with the Hindu rebirth/reincarnation concept., although you see it in Celtic mythology a bit, as they believed in reincarnation too.

  4. Karma is, "What comes around goes around" I don't know if the Greek or Romans taught this. Greeks and Romans were more into appeasing the Gods... Not wanting the wrath of Zeus. Did they ever teach "If you do bad things bad things will follow you".
