  3. It wouldnt surprise me if it didnt exist.  That thought (playing in Europe) had crossed my mind but surely he would have been played to try to get the team into the group stages and the all important money matters

  4. probably,I actually think most players have this type of clause in their contract.

  5. well i know that was the word on the street last night but i have my doubts. they paid £2.3m and got £7.8m less the sell on clause to osasuna gives them about £4m. not bad if you ask me. ok cuellar was exceptional last season but he could have quite easily been the spanish broadfoot

  6. Probably not, but after the humiliation of last season how can they expect a player of Cuellar's calibre to sink with them.. sorreee, I mean stick with them  Haha!

  7. Yes I believe it. The days of Ferguson and McStay who were/are good enough to play in the EPL but are loyal to Rangers or Celtic are numbered. Why would anyone from outside of Scotland want to stay at either Club when they can double/triple their wages in a better League? I honestly expect McGregor to be next to go before the end of August and it is reported Keegan has already bid 5 million. Also remember that O'Neill was linked with Cuellar earlier in the summer but the whole Champions League debacle probably triggered the whole transfer.I think Rangers would have increased his salary but no European football meant goodbye Carlos.

  8. In the overall scheme of things in Scottish football......does it really matter?
