me i feel they trade it away there best All-Defensive player they is a team that is a good scoreing team they really didn't need this i like the nuggets but i don't think they made the right choice and they did swamp pick with Los Angeles Clippers and receive a $10,000,000 trade exception, which can be used until one year from the completion of the trade but what do anybody think on this movement thanks

  1. nope.. denver nuggets next season has no great center.

    like marcus camby..

they can enter the playoffs next year

  2. Yea, they could have at least tried harder to get a first round pick

  3. yes they did the right thing for the future of denver nuggets, they are trying to rebuild the team it was a good thing to do, they need someone younger for them, also they need a center that can post up in the paint for melo and a.i., it good trust me i think the denver organization has a plan that why they did it they know what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. idk, i can c how the nuggets wanted to dump one of their big salaries, since they have so many

  5. he is geting old but they still could of trade it some one else big salary but this team sould of got another defener or some thing good for the clippers bad for the nuggets sould of try to get a frist round draft pick or some thing

  6. No the nuggets should have kept camby because now they got no good center who is good at defense. terrible for the nuggets.

  7. To be truthfully they should have got rid of K-Mart like most of America has. He is useless, he did nothing in New Jersey & is doin nuthin in Denver. His Contract is enormously big & he is wasted talent. They should have gotten atleast a late 1st rounder or early 2nd for him.Marcus Camby despite his age & injuries has made improvements everywhere he has gone & each team after tradeing has wonder the samething Denver Will. Why?

  8. Good trade, get rid of high salary and give Nene a chance to excell if he can stay healthy.

  9. No. A team that is not known for their deffense gets rid of the only player who plays deffense without questions asked and is good at shot blocking, rebounding.

  10. I would have kept Camby or at least got something more in that trade.  They should have traded Nene instead for a crappy draft pick!

  11. he was their ONLY defensive player and invaluable to the team. i dont what their gonna do know because there really isnt any defensive players like camby on the market, which is what they need

  12. Poor trade. They could have gotten better value for Camby if they waited or shopped around.

  13. nope the nuggets need a center now. the clippers seem to have done a lot of good things this offseason except for not signing brand and maggette. but they got baron and azubuike and camby

  14. As you said they got rid of the only thing that remotely looks like defense on their team.  So, they did an incredibly horrible thing.  I could them doing this if they felt like there was really no reason to have him on the team or if they could get something good in return that could help them this year.  But, they didn't they got rid of him for essentially free..at least free for this year.

  15. Financially yes, the nuggets are freeing up some cap space to resign Melo, A.I in the future but losing Camby as a starting center will definitely hurt them specially their defense, they can't expect k-mart to be their center because he's to small to be a center & his health is a question mark....

  16. YES and NO. heres why: it was a good move in the sense of salary cap relief. i mean as good as camby is, he is a 34 year old making 10 mill a year with a history of injuries. thats 1 bad contract gone. the bad part was that they got nothing in return besides the 10 mill TE. i mean they didnt even gain a 2nd rounder. it was the option to switch 2nd rounders. i really think that if the nuggets played their cards right, they could have gotten a 1st rounder in stead of switching 2nd rounders.

  17. it was a business decision. they went no where with him, just got swept by the Lakers in the first round. they want to shake things up, i wouldnt be surprised if they trade AI or Melo in the near future.

  18. No, this was such a stupid trade in my eyes.

The world is full of players that want to play offense. No offense to AI and Melo.

But how many guys go out, collect their 14 rebounds, block 4 shots, score 10 garbage points and be happy doing so?

I would think that if the Denver Nuggets are trying to build towards a Championship, trading away their ONLY DEFENSIVE PLAYER was a one way road tthe other direction!

If i were them, i would trade Allen Iverson and try to get some solid role players willing to play defense.

I love the Nugs, but this trade sunk the ship.
