Did the ipod mini have a recall?

my friend said it did because of the battery overheating.

I heard something of that sort over the radio in Chicago, but a web search on apple revealed nothing.  That's how I stumbled across your question.

I know of the "brick" being recalled and recreated because of a hard drive issue, but not the mini... ill have to check into that
