  1. Hi Ricardo,

    Well, Wealthier Situation ...

I do not think so, Rich again Rich, Poor again Poor ,

I mean there is no any difference ...

Before Money Reform, Average Salary 2.000.000.000 TL after reform 2.000 YTL (This is not Everyone, Example ...)

    We just removed the Zeros,

    Economy important, Unemployment important ...

  2. The money reform only changed how we name the money. But I must admit it feels better to buy something for 1 lira instead of 1 million lira. So, I think the decision was a correct one.

But wealth requires more industrial output, better marketing of produced goods, i.e. more export, and (in contrast to the ultra-capitalists' belief) more even distribution among the citizens. So, there is a long way to go, yet.

  3. No not at all, yet it did make it a little easier to understand to a traveler.
