Possibly, no proof to date to indicate it as a real possibility. Mafia was a bit shy regarding documentation and did not hire historians thus if the Mafia was responsible, we will never know, they are all dead.

Most likely explanation that is supported over and over again by the evidence, Oswald shot JFK. The RFK whack is much less evidence to support any firm conclusions, again if Mafia, they are all dead by now.

As far as mob money and mob support in Illinois pushing JFK into the white house, plenty of evidence to support that. This was primarily due to Joe Kennedy having a working relationship with the mob from prohibition, Joe was a rum runner.

Personally, I believe Castro had him killed... sure makes sense.. He tried to kill Castro..plus he JFK was in with the Mafia it seems and Castro ran the Mafia out of Cuba...

More then likely the government. JFK wanted to shut down the mess that is the federal reserve.
