  1. Of course but don't mention that to the haters because they will say they got the best player in the league like the self proclaim best player of the world from the cuntecs ms paula pierces his nipples.

  2. 2 first round picks (includes D.Green)

    expiring contract

    1mil in cash

Sac is rebuilding around Kevin Martin

  3. well yea the rockets stole artest.. but the kings did unload about 17 mill of salary.. and this is his last year on his contract so he woulda walked away last summer.. so atleast the kings got a veteran PG and a future 1st round pick.. and awesome trade by the rockets which might b the best defense team next year

  4. donte greene could be really good in the future. rashard lewis in the making in my opinion. i think the trade was good for both teams. but you people shouldnt undervalue the 1st round pick. guys like tony parker and josh howard were obtained with late 1st round picks. guys like arenas, boozer, redd, ginobili, and ellis were all 2nd rounders. so dont think draft picks are garbage or throw ins. those will pay off in the end.

  5. Well, they got Bobby Jax, probably Donte Greene (should be a good forward in the league for the future), and a future first round pick. The Kings are rebuilding, so they were unloading the contract as well as the drama Artest had caused and is causing.

Artest, on the other hand reunited with a coach that he respected in Adelman. So I think the trade immediate boost for Rockets and good for the Kings in the long run.

At least they didn't steal Artest like Lakers using Jerry West to steal Gasol. Come on now, Kwame Brown? Come on now. I know he was a number 1 draft pick. But come on now, Kwame Brown (along with another bust in Crittenton, and untested Marc Gasol)?

By the way, for the one above me, I rather see Rockets starting

Yao; Scola; Artest; McGrady; Alston. Battier can be the sixth man like Posey to the Celtics.

  6. Basically what they did was to take a gamble that the trade for Artest would win them a championship now, almost like what the Celtics did. TMac is 29, Yao is 28, so they have to win now. All Rockets fans are hoping that his personality doesn't explode any at all this year, because otherwise they have a legit shot at the title.

Because the Kings are trying to rebuild, the Rockets didn't really have to give up any proven players, so you could say that they got Artest for nothing.

The starting lineup is gonna have Ron Artest at the 4 because he can guard the 4's in the West and for the most part, they can't guard him.

  7. d*mn, now the rockets got 2 star defenders, 3 actually if you include yao.

    c - yao

    pf - artest

    sf - battier

    sg - tracy

    pg - rafer

thats going to be a weird lineup, but we'll just have to wait and see, just like we are all waiting to see the new look toronto, philly, clippers and warriors.

this is either going to work or fail, not average or the same team. this might be a sucess, but if itsnt then its ron's attutide
