Did the speakers in the RNC come across as 'fear mongering lunatics'?

  1. Yes, they have nothing since the Bush junta has pretty much destroyed the American economy.

    When do the color coded terror alerts start?  You know, the same ones they used to get Bush in for a second term, the ones that Tom Ridge said were false and politically motivated.

  5. Not at all, I saw a lot of smiles, pats on the back and a whole lot of relief from the republicans.  When the democrats spoke they were angry, afraid, and very negative.  

    Humanist, you seem to follow the democrats trend, in fact this question has a sense of anger in it.  Come on buddy cheer up, Obama can run again in 4 years.

  6. All the Republicans have been doing is talking about Barack Obama.  They have offered NO solutions and not yet told me why I should vote for them.  Trying to scare people into voting for them isn't going to work this time.

  7. The impression I have gotten from the Democrats since Bill Clinton's first term is "The Cold War is over....It's time for us to carve up the spoils and make sure we get the fattest part..."

    This is one reason I stopped supporting Democrats in national elections...

    The Republicans seem to have a more realistic outlook...The world is in a tenuous state...only the nations that work actively to maintain their strength will have any say in their own futures...

    All Great Nations have eventually re-joined the Pack....there is little reason to doubt that the U.S. will eventually do the same...but is it  "fear" that I prefer that this does not happen during my, or my children's lifetime...?
