okay i know some people think the teletubbies are stupid blah blah blah. well my 16 month old absolutely loves them. I noticed that they weren't going to be coming on this month on WHYY and I was okay with that because i thought they were still going to be on PBS Sprout. well my husband noticed that they took it off ondemand on the Sprout section but i saw a commercial for them that same day. But they are gone! they used to come on at 12 and now zaboomafoo comes on. so does anyone know for sure if teletubbies are done for good? i tried searching it but i didn't find anything.

  1. The channel season changed when schools started back.  Go rent the movies from the video store.  I actually bought the movies for my daughter through the video store because that is the only way you can get them.  If not I don't know what to tell you.  My daughter cried to watch them.

  2. I don't think they've made Teletubbies in years - it came out when my daughter was born, and she's 12! With really old shows being repeated they don't stay around for ever.

  3. I find Winnie the Pooh far, far worse than "Teletubbies". They seem dumb, but I have seen far worse shows than those dummy kids acting ridiculous. At least "Family Guy", I hate it,. and "The Simpsons", somewhat better, I can understand.

  4. I haven't seen the teletubbies around latley either and my son is 2 and loves them. He jumps around and laughs so much..

  5. I noticed both local PBS and Sprout have recently had programming and scheduling changes.  I just looked and our local PBS no longer has Teletubbies either.  You may try recording Sprout late night, all night and seeing if it airs in the night.  I have noticed on Sprout and Noggin some of the less popular or older shows still air late night.  Sprout has that general scheduling of Sunny Side Up or Good Night Show without specifics.  You could e-mail Sprout and your local PBS just to let them know you miss it, maybe they would bring it back if others do so.  And there's always Walmart DVDs.

  6. Sorry, but I hate them!  Zaboomafoo is a lot better, teaches the kids about different animals.

Did you know that they took them off the air over in Europe because it was giving the kids nightmares over there?  Why on earth would they bring a show like that to the United States to s***w these kids up even more than they already are? What a brilliant idea!
