I have had two miscarriages in the past two years. The first one started with extremely heavy bleeding and clots and an unbearable pain in my back and abdomen. The second one was very mild bleeding and no cramps. During the first miscarriage I had an ultrasound done and the baby had a heartbeat and I was told everything was fine and I was ready to go home. The next day the doctor decides to have another look at me and says that I miscarried because the baby had no heartbeat but the baby was still there. With the second miscarriage there was no baby, so I know for sure I miscarried. What are the chances that I didn't miscarry the first pregnancy. The reason I am asking is because during my first pregnancy I was stationed in Iraq and I know sometimes they will go to extremes to keep soldiers there.
