I agree that I definitely heard it, but it's not "in the background" at the Olympics - it's someone's floor routine.

What's happening is that different gymnasts are using all the equipment simultaneously, but on US TV we only see US competitors and people perceived by the TV gods to have serious medaling chances.  

So we were looking at one competitor do something on TV, and simultaneously someone else was at each station doing their routines.  To my understanding whomever is doing floor has music.  

What I don't know is WHICH athlete had that in their floor routine; it wasn't one broadcast on NBC.

My friend, that is a resounding yes. They did play Pirates of the Caribbean in the background.
