  1. No, not at all.  Tony is just a guy. He's not a saint, but he never claimed he was.  Tony is also the guy that gives and gives and gives to charities and not just thru his foundation.

His people got a thank you letter from a food bank in Texas or somewhere acknowledging the 18k they had gotten. When one person said that she didn't authorize that, Tony's mom said, "Tony wrote it out his check book.  He saw a need and wrote a check"...

The same Tony that upon hearing that Morgan Shepherd may not go to the next race because he couldn't afford the tires, told him to show and that he(Tony) would buy his tires for him.

I'm not always  Tony's biggest fan on the race track, but I have come to respect him as a person and a competitor.  We have enough "vanilla, politically correct" drivers on the circuit who spew the same sentences over and over again(Mark Martin, I like you, but come up with few different interview answers)....

People blast NASCAR for becoming too bland and then blast Tony because he isn't.  Can't have it both ways.

  2. to me it's just tony being tony he tells it like it is no matter what and that's part of why i like him!

  3. Wow

Thank you for this article so much

    I just never knew

    The ending is kinda sad....

  4. No it didn't for me its the same information as in his nascar video documentary thing. Yes he has the temper but he always does so much for the community, you just have to see past that and realize that everyone has a temper and his can just be a little harder to control.

and you should defiantly watch the movie, you can get it at the super store.

  5. "****, you can't blame Junior, even if it's his fault," Stewart says to the room, referring to Earnhardt's sacred status with the fans.

Mostly it just helped reaffirm my opinion of Jr fans

  6. Guess you weren't much of a fan then.  That article only makes me like him all the more.  I love his passion and fire!!!   Too bad more don't have that!

  7. No.  He is my favorite driver.  He tells it like it is and always runs hard.

  8. LOL the take on Jimmie Johnson could've been written by me.

Stay offa da fence boy!! Leave it to tha Spidey which ain't you.

Good luck to Tony with Ryan at his new home away from riceburnin cheaters.

  9. Nope I knew that all ready! I like him because of all the things in the article!! That is what made me his fan to begin with!! To bad Nascar had to take the fun out of racing once Sr died....I miss the brash...hard racing no holds bared TONY!

  10. why would that change my mind.... half of that article is not true and even if it is hey, who cares thjere is nothing tony could do to make me stop being a fan of his....... i will forever and always love smoke...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Wow I actually read the hole thing. I think its kinda funny and I would feel the same way lol. But Ill look at him a little different now. Haha till he gets a wife, if his you know what isn't rotted! hahaha

  12. No I never saw it before. But thanks for the link. I hope Tony does good in his new business venture. I also think it's very cool that Newman will be there too. Tony's one of my fav'es anyway

  13. Not really I have read a lot of articles about him and I guess that's why I like him. He speaks what's on his mind and it used to get him in a lot of trouble but I think Nascar just accepts it now !

  14. It's tough for Tony right now. I do like him, he's my favorite driver too, and I wish some people would lay off of Tony too because he is a good driver.

  15. no it doesnt but i will be scarred for life with that picture of him in his tidey whideys

  16. Tony just being Tony. It is ok with me. I like his passion.

  17. love it. helped me make up my mind as to whether to go tony's personal appearance at home depot or the racefest thursday night in fontana/rancho cucamonga - they're scheduled for the same d**n time. got to go to tony's first then take my chance with the rest, especially after reading that article. do you know, is it in the new rolling stone magazine? if so, i've got to get a copy for him to sign...
