Did this murder actually happen?

Recently a friend told me about a murder that supposedly happened in her home state of Ohio. She says a woman left her kids in the care of her brother overnight and came home to find that he had killed them while on drugs. She says he "thought they were squealing pigs and tried to cook them". This sounds like an urban legend to me... Did it actually happen?

I heard the story also but I heard that he "thought that they were beavers" and pulled there buck teeth out one by one and threw there poor bodies in a river..I think that it's urban legend actually.
