  1. No 1 money leader, VJ has not been near taking his No1 status in that time and only achieved the former because he played so many tournaments.Sorry, incorrect! he did hold the number one spot for 34 weeks in 2004/5 and the money title-apologies!

  2. Both.

Vijay Singh was #1 on the PGA Tour money list in 2003 and 2004, the only two years since 1999 that Tiger Woods did not finish atop that list.

Also, Singh held the #1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking for 32 weeks (not 34 weeks as another answerer here suggests; see www.owgr.com). He reached #1 with a victory at the 2004 Deutsche Bank Championship and stayed there until Tiger Woods regained the top spot with his win at the 2005 Masters.

  3. Tiger Woods did lose both in 2004 and some of 2005, and Phil will likely pass Woods by the time he comes back or be will close to him.

  4. Vijay Singh held the no. 1 spot twice in the last few years, being the only one to dethrown Tiger from that spot since he took it in his first year on the tour.

  5. U mean vija singh?
