Yes, we lived close to a country pub that had a big garden with an orchard. I borrowed a fishing knife from my dads shed, and spent hours up the trees, cutting the bark. I used to sit in the trees above the tables that people sat on, picking the apples and dropping them on customers. Got away with it for ages until one day i dropped the knife my mistake and it stuck in the table. The landlord was not happy, and my dad gave me a good hiding, didn't stop me climbing the trees though.

Yip! Had a bunch right outside my house and I used to climb them all the time and make rope swings! The trees were on the brow of a hill so the rope swings were great!

when i was  6-8 but under six i wasn't aloud because my uncle broke both his arms climbing a tree its not a god idea with out an adult or some one else around

Used to love climbing trees, fell out the trees a few times but it never put me off.

Yes I did, it was great fun.  We lived next door to a golf course.  I had certain trees I climbed up to watch the golfers.  When they lost a ball in the rough, I used to wait until they stopped looking for it, then climb down and get it and give them it back.  The ones that gave me a tip for doing so always got their ball back.  The ones that did not .... well I kept the ball.  Once I had a bag full, would take them into a sports shop and get money for them.

Sure did, numerous times a day. I had to climb a huge tree to get into my tree house. I spent so much time in that tree house and surrounding trees hiding from my brothers and sometimes my parents so I wouldn't have to do chores on the farm.
