  3. No. I sent my girlfriend a non-Valentine's Day gift weeks before the 14th. While we do like the idea of celebrating love with billions of other people, we make sure to tell each other how much we love them every day. We don't necessarily need a over-commercialized holiday to dictate our emtions.
