Its a little inappropriate to accuse someone of being a draft dodger and not offering any source or proof.

  3. He didn't avoid the Draft.

    He just wasn't drafted.

Less than 6% of the eligible males, were actually drafted during Vietnam.

And by the time Vietnam heated up, he was over the age limit they were drafting.

    But I wonder,

When Clinton was President and attacking, bombing and invading six different countries, on four separate continents.

All without Congressional or UN approval.

Were you worried about Clinton dodging the draft ?

    I somehow, don't think so.

  5. Yes... Congress is full of hawks who avoided the draft. Rush Limbaugh himself used a weak medical excuse, and we all know that GWB joined the national guard, well kind of... when he did show up sober.

We ought to make sure that congressmen families are the first to enroll in the armed forces when they don't declare war (at least give authorization and turn the other way) and then fund it.

  6. What doe shis song have to do with his status in Viet Nam.  Even Bruce Lee was 4F when he went for his physical.

  7. Back then we had lottery numbers.  Mine was 291.  It never got to me.  Had it, I would have gone but I wasn't about to volunteer for it.  I don't know if that happened to Lee or not.  Just a possibility.
