Did ur baby have a duck tail?

i heard if u look at the back of your new born and the baby has a duck tail the next baby will be a girl and if its straight across the next will be a boy. was this true for anyone?

I am assuming that you mean hair.  Both of my children have hair across.  My daughter had a little tail at the back of her hair though...is that what you mean by a duck tail?  We cut it off and saved it in her baby book.  The next child is a boy...he doesn't have the tail.  We don't plan on having any other children.

EDIT:  In that case, both of my children have duck tails....

I'm sorry.  I don't know what a "duck tail" is.  I had a boy, then a girl, so if you tell me what a "duck tail" is, I'll tell you if its true or not.

All three of mine had the "duck tail", so nope, it wasn't true.

The only reason why I know what a duck tail is because yestrday I was at my mother's house with my daughter and she goes oh look she has a duck tail!  My daughter is almost 17 months old, and once in awhile she does have a duck tail.  I'm currently 17w3d pregnant so I will know in about a month or so what I'm having.  So I can't say for sure if it's true.  Although, my daugther say she's going to have a sissy, and has been saying that for quite some time now.  So if that were the case and she was right, then yes it would be true.  We'll see!!
