Question:

Did we all just evolve from dinosaurs? And they never really mysteriously disappeared?

Everybody is always trying to figure out what happened to the dinosaurs. Maybe nothing happened to them. Maybe we just evolved from them. Wouldn't that make the most sense?

  1. no, it wouldn't make the most sense.

though connections can be made, dinosaurs are believed to have evolved from a different Paleozoic 'branch' than ours. so, that would make dinosaurs some kind of distant cousins of ours, in a matter of speaking, but clearly not our great-great (ad infinitum) grandparents.

there are too many biological differences between humans and dinosaurs to assume that one is evolutionary descendant of the other. the komodo dragon is believed by some to be a descendant of the general family of dinosaurs, and some reptiles (if not all) as well.

just because there is a lot of talk about dinosaurs, doesn't mean there were the only animals living at that time.

  2. It does not make too much sense, Due to the difference in the amount of chambers in the heart, endothermic vs exothermic(warm blood vs cold blood), and even fossil morphology. Some them may have evolved into birds however.

  3. Humans are not the descendants  of the dinosaurs.

The human evolutionary tree diverged from the reptilian branch long before the dinosaurs evolved. Ultimately we share some ancestors among the vertebrates (animals with backbones) but mammals were in business along side the dinosaurs.

  4. I woke up with a beanusaurus this morning.

  5. You are correct. Little do people realize that Barney is the missing link.

  6. Evolution doesn't work that way. Chimps will never be humans. It's not a progession in a line and we are not the very end of it. It will keep going.

Think of it as more of a spiral.

  7. but where did the caveman evolve from? dinosuars.

    CHECK MATE *****.

  8. they are still here...just in another dimensional parallel to this one.

  9. We didnt  evolve from dinosaurs but from  our ancestors who we call cavemen/women. I should correct you that we didnt evolve from dinosaurs but we started to evolve to a more logical human raise when it was the time of the dinosaurs. So did you get that?

  10. If you want the real answer to the age old question, Read Keeper's of the Garden by Dolores Cannon.

All Life forms on earth were PUT here at one stage or another to develope, by a higher evolved entity, some cultures looked at these beings as gods, the bible may call them the nephlim, but there is something to this that I believe Dolores Cannon has uncovered, and from what I read, the puzzle is starting to make a lot of sense, as far as The bible, many different religions, UFO's, its all explainable if your willing to explore with an open mind.

Science likes you to believe astroids did them in, but what do we know about "pole shifting" of the earth ?

I read Lindsey Williams book " the non oil crisis " that talks about his days as a chaplain on the alaskan pipeline in the 1970's, when they were digging up frozen palm trees from deep underground and still intact.

what kind of event would cause palm trees to show up in artic like environment ? shifting of the earths axis sounds like a plausable scenario, its believed that if that ever happened, there would be great destruction, waves several miles high, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and massive cooling of the earth.

  11. if we evolve from dinasour, then we would be like them in nature...in behaviour and in physique... don't u think?...

  12. There is a lot of really, really good evidence that the dinosaurs were mostly wiped out from the effects of a meteor collision 65 million years ago. We're even rather sure where the impact crater is/was. There's also some good evidence that birds evolved from dinosaurs, so some of their descendants still live on today. It's not a real mystery anymore what happened to the dinosaurs. Several things happened to them, the big one being they all died. Having people eventually evolve from them would be tough to prove, and it doesn't make a lot of sense. There isn't any evidence for that, and it wouldn't make sense in an evolutionary sense. The relationships that we already know exist explain it all pretty well.

  13. Other animals may have evolved from dinosaurs, but humans evolved from cavemen.

  14. We evolved from one dinosaur like a hundred twenty million years ago and all mammals are descended from it.  Otherwise, all other dinosaurs are not our ancestors.

  15. No. It is difficult to accept your concept.Certainly something would have been happened which resulted in their extinction,

  16. many scientists feel there is good evidence to support the idea that dinosaurs evolved into birds.

  17. Well that explains my constant struggle with gaining weight.  My body is trying to morph back into a triceratops.

What are you doing up so early?
