  1. Yeah we found two sources for the last of the Dino extinctions. I turned out Volcano like areas expanded and it strained the climate and at the same time a giant rock from space hit earth and the crater is in Mexico just off the coast. Too much c**p in the air. Plus birds probley dominated and only mammals could...

  2. major climatic changes caused by an asteroid collision in the Hamptons

  3. My opinion climate change due to volcano activity and earthquakes or more males or more females born so mating ratio no longer existed.

  4. It is commonly accepted that the asteroid is responsible for ending the age of dinosaurs, but also sciences still evolve around this topic; therefore, there is not 100% confirmation.  At present time, there research shows that multiple events coincides with this mass extinction, and one event alone was not enough sufficient to create such drastic change.

At that time, dinosaurs were already decreasing because environment was changed by large volcanic eruptions in Indian minicontinent.  The impact completely stressed and changed the life on Earth and the extinction was sudden.  The volcanic eruption lasted for million or so years, and further decreasing a chance for the surviving species to reestablish its dominance like it happened during Triassic-Jurassic extinction.

In summary, the asteroid in Chicxulub did affect the Earth and probably triggered mass extinction of dinosaurs.  However, combination of multiple events and volcanic eruptions created environment where life suddenly collapsed and entire species were whipped out in very short period of time.
