i know his style is way different and better, is it just that he looks different cuz of his different look and good makeup and cuz he got older??

I don't think he had surgery some facial perhaps I guess to smoothen his skin.. I think he knows that a lot of people doesn't really like how he looks (he's not an idol type) -- he's been open about it.

Agree with the first to answer its the hair and he lost a lot of baby fats from his debut so he looks different.

He sported a lot of hair style and a lot of which are 'not so good'.  Agree with you his fashion/style is a lot better now.

No. It's just because of his hair cut, makeup, and photoshopped appearance that makes him look different.

Yeah.. He did have platic surgery. I knew it from TV.
