I was on Luke Air Base and I struck up a conversation with this elderly man while waiting in line at the BX after a while he began to tell me how he was a retired General and he is pissed at today's youth cause he constantly hears them say thing like "we defeated Germany in WWII" "black people created this" "white people invented this," He said to me that he once scolded at a younger person for saying that the japanese bombed us at pearl harbor...He said he told him, "I was there and I dont remember seeing you running along side me"

Do you think that people today quickly take credit for the actions of others, rather than giving true credit to those that actually made a difference?

(The initial questions relates to the details in regard to the fact that white people did not create the light bulb, one white person did, and asian people did not create the first calculator one asian person did, it was called and abacus)

  1. I agree with you!

When it was a white guy invent something then they said " white men invent this."

    I do get your point.

    You're right about this.

But I wish I can explain it more but ......... You know how people are!

  2. I agree. I think it's stupid to say things like for black people to say "We were slaves." I bet they weren't there picking cotton or fighting for civil rights. Just because someone did something and they were your race means nothing. Thomas Edison was white and invented the lightbulb. So Thomas invented the lightbulb. Doesn't mean all white people can rejoice and take credit for the invention. You can take pride in what your ancestors did (not your race but your family) but you can't take credit for it.
