I know that the winchester model 94 30/30 was standard with top ejection but someone is adamant that they also produced a side eject which I do not believe. I know that the "Marlin" 30/30 has side eject but I've never heard of it in the winchester 94 30/30???

  1. its still is top ejected but kicks to the side a little more then the original...my dad has one and we mounted a scope onto it...it already had to holes that were needed to mount a scope on to...the other one that we have does not have any holes and is top ejected...

  2. in !984 Winchester introduced angle eject which allowed scopes to be mounted by ejecting the round low and to the right but they never had a side eject

  3. Yes and no. They had the 94 AE (angle eject).

  4. All 1894/94 rifles are top eject including the AE or Angle Eject versions which send the spent casing out at an angle from the top so that a scope does not block the ejection.

  5. i think the 94 only had side loading not side ejecting, i own a 94 top eject

  6. Never seen or heard of one, other than the model that Vanigon mentions which if I recall had ejection problems. The biggest criticism of the '94 was always the top eject which made scope mounting difficult.
