Did women ever die due to corset damage?

I saw a few images of how the organs get forced downwards by corsets, but did women ever die from it?

They wouldn't die unless their breathing or circulation was obstructed. If it got forced downwards it would most likely stretch the muscles in your organs, therefore making them weaker. I conclude that women would die earlier due to weak organs. I'm not 100% sure but that's my guess.

not from the acual corset, but from heat strokes.

lack of oxygen, because it compresses the lungs

and yea, organs get forced down.

I doubt that any one would have died from wearing a corset. But the effects of wearing a corset may have contributed to deaths.

One thing is that consumption (tuberculosis) was relatively common. The corset didn't cause this but wearing a corset, with its restricted lung function, may have made women more susceptible to the disease and surely didn't help recovery if you got the disease.

A lot of the myths surrounding health problems associated with wearing corsets are exaggerated. No doubt they do exist, but over time the stories you tend to hear are the extreme ones not the average every day experience of the people.

Remember that hygiene and general health was very poor in the 17th and 18th centuries and often the medical diagnosis and treatment wasn't much better. So I think that any deaths in those times attributed to corsets need to be taken with a grain of salt. I think that the corset was the least of their health problems
