When Kyle said that thing about the In-N-Out Burgers I thought it was funny, but when he said "I'm not knocking people out of the way on purpose, I'm telling you" I stopped reading. He may not be doing it on purpose all the time, but he wrecks people purposely enough times. and if he doesn't then it proves how bad of a racer he is (racer, not driver)

See it doesn't matter what he says, he will be criticized no matter what he says.... he could've said, him and edwards sat down afterwords and talked about it worked things out and everything is good and someone wuld say something

good article and the quote about going to in-and-out is in line with typical kyle sarcasm - it's very similar to what he said right after the richmond incident. when asked if he had spoken to junior yet, he said no but he had left a message. then he added, "hopefully we'll either see each other in the garage or he'll get back to me later -- maybe even tonight. It's cinco de mayo; maybe we'll go party it up a little bit."

the dumbest part is that the haters will read that and think he's just "trying to be funny" or whatever, but in reality he's just showing how tired the same question over and over becomes. so, give 'em an answer that's obviously a lie, and they'll eat it up. when read on it's own, it's actually not that funny - but in context of being asked the same thing over and over, that some reporters (and most haters) will take that and treat it as anything but pure sarcasm, whether it's true or not, is hilarious.

i just hope people keep trying to pile on the pressure, because he is incapable of "just blowing it off" - it makes him come off the line each race with something to prove - and that's a dangerous motivation for someone with that much talent. and this "kyle and carl show" rivalry business is only helping fuel the fire. if you don't believe me, a) look at last night's race, and b) go back to last week's post-race interview. kyle is told that carl has said that maybe they have a rivalry between the two of them now, to which kyle grabbed the mic half-way through the question and responded angrily, "how many do i need?" and tossed the mike back down. when asked to clarify if he meant "how many rivals do you need?" he just rolled his eyes, paused, and blurted "yeah." like it or not, he will get his due - read that however you like...
