i think portland and philly are too high, put them at 8 & 9 and move evryone ahead of them one spot higher, i.e. cleveland #7

yeah i would def say that portland was good where its at, although roy is injured the immediate impact oden will have will definitely improve on the portland team from last year. for the celtics though, i would say that the lakers are lookin pretty good though. though the celtics are the reigning world champs they lost a perimeter threat/decent defenseman in posey, while the lakers are reloading with a now healthy and hungrier than ever bynum. the lakers this year will the largest big 3 in the league (odom, bynum, and gasol), and once the season mvp kobe's pinky gets better post surgery, i dont know if anyone in the league can stop em. if it was any team though, i'd say boston....that big 3 is hard to stop as well.

I agree with most of it but some teams are ranked higher than they should and some teams are ranked lower.

the blazers are going to a fun team to watch this season..great young talent all around but not better than the rockets with ron artest, yao and tmac. and how about the magic. and don't ferget the cavs. blazers have no playoff experience. roy going to be out for the first month or so and greg oden hasnt even set foot on the hardwood. they're going to be great. i'll list them between 10-15,  but not at 5!

They'll be great to watch, but a little too overrated because of the youngsters on my part. If the Rockets are healthy, USA Today will regret so bad not putting them right in the Top 3 with the two defending champions from each conference. And they made fun of OJ and Rudy g*y.. Gayo? And what reason do they have ranking the Nets all the way down there, and with the intelligence of D'Antoni and the smarts to pull out a good trade by Donnie Welsch anytime of the season, anywhere, why they down there?
