Did you all read the column by conservative David Brooks praising Joe Biden?

David Brooks is a genuine conservative in the tradition of Barry Goldwater, not a right-wing authoritarian posing as a conservative like Hannity or Rush Limbaugh that engage in personal attacks and distortions in order to fool and manipulate people. Brooks instead is intelligent and honest. While he is a conservative, in the article he says:

"Barack Obama has decided upon a vice-presidential running mate. And while I don’t know who it is as I write, for the good of the country, I hope he picked Joe Biden"

I think Biden is a great choice. He is pretty much liked by everyone. He says some goofy things but that's because he speaks frankly and in the end people respect that.

This is actually one of Biden's strongest points - here is a politician who actually knows how to work with both parties.

And it's refreshing to see that recognized!

I hadn't seen it but I'm not surprised.  I think Biden is a terrific choice.
