I have a friend that only gained 20lbs when pregnant so she just bought bigger sizes because she didn't like maternity clothes.

How about you?

  1. I bought maternity clothes. I found some really cute ones at maternity shops as well as places like Kohls and sears. But you do what you have to do. Now days you cant tell you are wearing maternity unless you lift your shirt. HEHE

  2. I am 23 weeks pregnant, and I really did not feel like buying too many maternity clothes, but bought some.  But really I have been wearing like cotton/active wear shorts.  And have bought some tank tops and light weight shirts.  I have been so hot, so I have been wearing very light weight clothing.

  3. bigger size clothes don't fit the way they should in the end...they look weird cause they don't cover your belly up the way maternity clothes do...I bought bigger sized stuff for in the begining when your not to big...but I wore maternity clothes from around 4 months on...they are more comfy and fit way better...especially pants...

  4. I did both...by the end thoguh I just wore baggy shirts bc even maternity tops were uncomfortable for me.

from about 25-35 weeks I wore maternity clothes, then after that baggy clothes.

  5. i went to consignment shops for maternity clothes because they were like new for cheap or online for clearanced maternity clothes because i didnt want to spend all that money for something you only wear for maybe 6months 50$ for jeans COME ON i dont pay that for nonmaternity jeans lol

  6. I wore maternity clothes. They are so cute, but can be expensive depending on where you shop for them. Larger clothes do not fit as well as the maternity. It also depends on your job or how you like to dress.

  7. Maternity clothes all the way. I'm already a bit overweight and so bigger clothes just make me look fat, maternity clothes make me look pregnant. My maternity clothes are much more stylish than my normal clothes. I buy from Pea in a Pod, Ripe, Soon, places like that. They fit my tummy better and are really flattering.

    Hope that helped!

  8. I just bought mostly bigger clothes because the one place here that sells maternity clothes is way way to expensive (about $40 for one shirt).  The bigger clothes worked just fine.

  9. I was proud to be pregnant so I bought a few maternity clothes.  They accent the belly SOOOOO cute. :)

  10. i needed maternity pants for the last couple month.  i just wore stretchy pants until then.  i wore my regular shirts most of the time.  i have a few shirts that were maternity, but i didn't wear them much.

  11. I bought maternity clothes, I am already overweight this pregnancy, so finding bigger clothes would be too hard not to mention bigger clothes are usually not as funky.

  12. I always bought maternity shirts, some maternity jeans, but mostly sweat pants. Nice and comfy!

  13. in the shirts, i just bought a bigger size.. the maternity shirts always made me look bigger than what I really was.. but on the jeans, i had to start buying maternity jeans around 7 months or so.. i could just leave them unbuttoned, but it became noticeable, but i was more comfortable in maternity jeans.

  14. I had a hard time finding stylish maternity clothes so most of the clothes I did buy was just a bigger size. I did find a few cute maternity dresses and tops at places like Belks or Dillards but not too much. I only gained about 25lbs when I was pregnant.
