  1. Solidified it.

    McCain/Palin 08

  2. It solidified my choice.  I won't grumble now when I come out of the booth having voted for McCain.

  3. Solidify, it's exactly who I wanted him to pick!

  4. Solidified my confidence in McCain...

  5. Changed. I was planning to vote for McCain, but given her inexperience, I can't vote for him knowing she's a heartbeat away from having to become president.

  6. Solidified. People focus on the chance to make history by picking Obama, but keep in mind that there is a chance to make history if Palin is the first woman VP. Aside from that, I really like McCain, and he could've chosen just about anyone without me switching my vote. Fortunately, he chose someone who I respect and a woman who is an example of a successful, professional and mother.

  7. I've been in the Obama camp since '06, baby. The ONLY time I thought of not voting at all was when there was that talk about allowing new oil platforms to be built in the Gulf of Mexico. His awesome speech at the DNC reassured my hopes and eliminated my worries. I'm as loyal as I ever been. I just hope my absentee ballot shows up!!!

  8. Nope. I wouldn't even vote for B.O. if he was running against Al Gore.

  9. I'm not a flip flopper, down with Obama since day one. McCain is an old f**t with old ideas. We need someone fresh and vibrant with fresh ideals. The whole world wants Obama. If the republicans stay in office, we are likely to get attacked at home again. You guys are all about yourselves. Republicans are bullies. That is why the world hates us now.

  10. Palin has ENERGIZED me to DEFEAT obama

  11. it solidified my support for obama

i don't understand how anybody can honestly listen to mccain and thinks he has our best interests at heart, especially after this lieberman deal, and palin was a cheap pick for the republicans

  12. Solidified it for me.

  13. My vote was never in doubt - Obama all the way. Palin is more of an insult to me. Republicans claim Obama isn't experienced... so they grab Palin? Who supposedly has all this experience, even more than McCain on Executive leadership (prove this). Not to mention the fact that out of 4 speeches, she mentions Hillary Clinton. Could it be that she is a pawn to capture those voters. EVENTHOUGH she is on the complete opposite end of the political spectrum?

  14. Yahoo is a Republican Forum.  MAKE NO DOUBT.

The majority of Obama supporters with any clout have all had their accounts suspended.

  15. I am more confident than ever in the McCain/Palin ticket.

Personally, I am voting republican for the first time in my entire life.

  16. Obama's refusal to see the wounded warriors in Germany and his shady associations, made me change my mind. Obama refuses to see wounded soldiers, but will associate with Tony Rezko, William Ayers, and Rev. Wright.

    McCain/Palin 2008!

  17. Definitely solidified my choice for McCain/Palin.

  18. Nope.  I wasn't going to vote for McCain no matter who he chose as VP.  Considering his age and history of cancer, it's pretty irresponsible for him to pick someone with so little experience--but, as I said, I don't care because I have no intention of voting for him.

See, that's the thing.  This didn't change anyone's mind; nothing's going to change anyone's mind.  The right-wingers should not be as thrilled as they are with Palin, since they're the ones advocating abstinence, which clearly her daughter didn't practice.  But because she's McCain's choice, they love her--but ONLY because she's McCain's choice.

Edit:  To those saying Palin has solidified or strengthened your intention to vote for McCain, could I please ask why??  Is it her vast experience in Washington and with foreign policy?  Her superior parenting skills that led her to leave her Downs Syndrome infant and subject her daughter to media ridicule?  Her stellar record on fighting for women's rights??  (Seems to me the only woman whose rights she cares about is herself.)  If you  think her gender is reason enough, you should have supported Hillary.  This woman is a joke, except there's nothing funny about anyone who thinks she's remotely qualified.

Janny, with all due respect, I think you're full of it.  Had you ever heard of this woman before McCain plucked her out of the two-bit town she lives in?

  19. I will never change my vote. I would cut off my own arm, before I  would ever vote for Obama. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.

  20. solidified it.  I wouldn't vote for Obama if he were running against Rosie O'Donnell and I can't stand her.

  21. I wanted Romney for his business, leadership, and economic strength....

I had no idea who Sarah Palin was......

Now that I've checked out her strengths, I am VERY excited about her and the McCain ticket.

  22. It totally made me all the more sure of my choice.

  23. solidified. That is who I was hoping for.

  24. I was lukewarm on McCain until Palin. Now I'm pumped. He is my candidate now with his choice of Palin.
