  1. yes but only with the first child

  2. Yep.  Preschool was really hard.  I cried a bit in the room when I left her off and then more when I got home.  Actually the first two weeks were rough for me.  Kindergarten, only the first day was really hard.  She was okay after that and so was I.  :)

  3. I cried on the way to the car on my youngest sons first day of Kinder ONLY bc I was going to stay and help (like at my daughters first day the previous year) but the teacher sent all the parents home!

She even told the kids to wave the parents "Good-bye" and there was my son asking "Mom? Why are you going??"

I was just caught off guard on that one.  It was also a bit of empty nest- both my kids were out of the house all day.

  4. i cried for my sons teacher because she didnt know what she was in for lol i was sad but i didnt cry the kids were so happy i was happy for them

  5. No. I love my son but he's like a puppy following me everywhere. I like him being at school for some me time for a few hours and he gets that interaction with other kids.

  6. I did not cry and my son didn't either. It bothered me but i did not cry. Crying would have not stopped him from going.

  7. yes I sat in the car in the parking lot for about a hour cause I couldn't see the streets through the tear..I knew he was happy but it was such a big step and I had forgot to tell the teacher he don't like milk..lol..I cried when he lost his first tooth,

  8. My mom did when I started. Then, two years later when my younger brother started, she just shook her head and said "they're growing up so fast." (Not that I remember; my mom and grandmother have told me).

I'm now a sophomore and my brother is in eighth grade. The sad part is that even I see how fast my life is flashing before my eyes.

  9. No, they were so excited about going to school and that made me excited about it.

  10. Oh yeah, I was a big time mama's girl.  I cried every day when she left me for the first couple of months at least.  (it was a looooong time ago)  I know I cried for a few minutes after she left but then eventually I'd get interested in other stuff and I was fine then.  It was for the best.  She had to leave me eventually and I adjusted.

Opps you were asking if moms cry when dropping off kids.  Sorry, I misunderstood.
