  1. Anytime I call any company about my bill or anything I ALWAYS get someone from another country... Yes some of them are very helpful but the majority, you cant understand because they cant speak English very well... It does get annoying!... You have them as they get these people to work for min wage and its cheap labor,....

  2. No but when I called my internet provider, I did. I talked to some guy named "Howard" and I asked where he was located?  Mumbai. I knew he was an Indian by his accent. He did help me with my internet problem but I think those jobs should be held by Americans. I've changed internet provider because of it.

  3. Nope, never called the IRS.  Did call AT&T when my internet went down .....several times.  If I called after 4:00 p.m., I would get someone from India, who I could not understand.  I got tired of saying "pardon me?", so I cancelled with them.  I mean....COME ON!  AT&T stands for "AMERICAN TELEPHONE & TELEGRAPH" and we get someone from India????  No thank you!  Now the IRS too???

  4. I don't understand the problem.  They are extremely bright, and good at what they do...

  5. no, but i booked a flight to India when the IRS was knockin at my Front Door~!!!

  6. No, but I called once and got a snotty, entitled, lazy government worker on the other end.  I had this vision in my head, had to be at least 100 pounds overweight.  Probably sitting there is a sleveless shirt with those fat saddlebags hanging down from her arms and a moose knuckle poking through the spandex pants.

  7. I understand your point . How ever I did call the IRS last Spring and he was very helpful -I know that sounds surprising . It was a surprise.

  8. No, but every time I call Dell with a complaint I get someone from India who speaks such  poor English that I am unable to understand them. Oddly enough, they are usually very patient, and very nice to me while I scream at them.

Perhaps the IRS has taken to use the same tactic and it might not be such a bad idea. We should all just forward any unpleasant  phone calls to India and let someone there handle it for us. For example, mothers-in-law, bill collectors, salesmen, political polls,ex husbands or wives, the list would be endless.

I am ready for a change.
