You must be joking,my Mum was always one step ahead of me,which wasn,t difficult as the only time I played truant,I spent the day on the beach,and went home with a pocket full of shells and pebbles,she didn,t believe I found them in the playground.

No , but I used to put the thermometer on the radiator when Mum took my temperature, as in our house you had to have a fever if you wanted to get out of school!

You leave the house skip school, get abducted and nobody knows. You then have all day knowing that nobody knows where you are.

I forged a note that got me out of school for good. Up to this day, my mother doesn't know about it.
