To reply to TANK, I have to say I'm glad my kid isn't in the same place as her "biter".  I would consider biting - even occasionally - as extremely violent.  listen to yourself lady.  Maybe you should teach your kid that biting is UNACCEPTABLE, instead of having to have other kids experience getting bitten.  Those parents should be more concerned about their kids being in the same room as your biter!  GEESH!

Yes.  Let me begin by saying i really had to let go of my emotions work through them as i was extremely upset.

My son goes to daycare once a week . Why for him to learn and interact socially with other kids and to learn and participate in different activities provided.  

My upsetting situation was that i am aware that my son can occasionally bite - when he is excited playing with other kids.  One day he had been doing this and the worker had told me he had been "Extremely Violent" i was upset and concern - so i approach the situation and ask the head group leader what had happened who gave me a completely different version to the story.  Yes same kids bite and pull but all kids are at this age where they are learning and are testing the boundaries.

I get annoyed as some childcare workers are so great with kids and know how to deal with situations professionally and then there are real inconsideret idiots who dont realise that there unprofession choice of words can really upset a parent who is only concern about there childs welfare.

Anyway the end the story i consider removing my child from this centre however didn't in the end after discussion with my husband who said that my son has to learn what is right and wrong and that this who the opionion of only one person.  I did make a complaingt to the manager about the situation and choice of words use to describe a 20 month year old!  Since then i havent had any further problems.
