  1. Yes, in Aix-en-Provence.  It's a very rich town-très chic!

The lifestyle is typically slower than in the North and more relaxed.

  2. Never lived there for a long time but I go there every summer during 2 months and my sister lives there. So it depends where in Provence. The Var/ Riviera seaside is beautiful, you can have a great way of life there, beautiful beaches,  good shopping places, good restaurants and in the cities great nightlife. But you also have to know that it's the first visited area in France after Paris! Which means that from June to October roads are overcrowded and it could takes you more than 1h to drive 10mi.!! and that doesn't make the South seaside very livable.  In Camargue road are easier because there is no mountains! If you live the sea you'll find small villages very laid back and a couple of  bigger towns where life can be cool. About the weather: hot and dry most of the time. The winter can be cool. But the inside land is a lot hotter than the seaside! Be careful!^^.

Well if you're young, I'd advice you to come and live in Nice or Canne for the seaside (or Toulon but it's harder to drive there)... or in the in-lands: Aix-en-Provence.

    Hope that helps^^ Bye
