Did you ever meet Princess Diana? What did you think of her?

Yes, I met her about a year after her marriage. Unfortunately, she was so mobbed, that I only got a few seconds to see her. She appeared to be a typically pretty girl in the "English rose" tradition, and was talking to the crowd around her. Prince Charles was much better looking in person than in his photos, and seemed quite at ease as he greeted people, in the middle of the melee.

Edit - At the time that I met her, it was before she got the full "glamour treatment", so she wasn't wearing a pound of makeup, and looked very natural and pretty in a classic Wedgewood blue suit and white blouse with pearls.

Yeah I met her. She was nice mannered but devious. People I knew thought she was quite sly and a little sluttish. She was very tall, and wore immaculate footwear.

Diana was nothing special.

She was just like any other person at there, she wasn't special or some sort of angel. Yes she helps some kids in Africa, but so did many other celebrity's and people in history. I don't see why people are so caught up in the whole 'Diana is such a wonderful saint' fad.

Yes I did .. and she was full of her own importance .. a most unpleasant experience .. fake humility and no magnetism at all
