Did you ever notice how almost everything we sell/throw away can be donated......?

Every day I am learning about new charities. For example, I was watching Nancy Grace at the perfect time. There was a segment about a hero who collects bikes and sends them to countrys where having a bike is a huge help.

Another was with cell phones. I send old ones (mine, my husbands, and my daughters) to Cell Phones for Soilders.

Backpacks are sent to a program that delievers them.

What are some things most of us just sell at a tag sale that can be donated?

I give all my children's old clothes to friends and family that need them, when nobody can use them I donate them to the local church. As for other stuff my husband is a pack rat, so we keep everything else "never know when you will need it again" his favorite line.

Check out The Story of Stuff if you haven't already, it is eye opening.  I try to donate anything that is still usable.
