Question:

Did you ever notice that what people call themselves is rarely what they are? Is there some explanation?

I have noticed that people who self define usually don't live up to what's on the label. Yet we seem to still accept their self-evaluation. That Stalin was a communist and Hitler a christian seem to be favourite delusions.

What process do you think is in train?

Do you call yourself anything?

  1. Is she saying i'm not a famous singer.

  2. I would say that this is not possible for anyone to know oneself exactly; this is a very significant point to note here. There is no objectively in the way we understand, define and explain ourselves to the world. We all live to seek the semblance of our ideals: our best notions, worst fears, our motivation and apprehensions all, we induce from what idealise and worship inside. Then it would be either or sin or something unreasonable if we did not see in what we are with full anticipations of what we can be. If I have only the facts to define myself then I might not be alive. This is just like we live for today not only for what we may have now, but also with a hope and anticipation of what we may also have tomorrow and of many a days to come.

When people define themselves as what they are they do no disregard what they sand for. They leave plenty of room for what they dream about, and even what their fears and apprehension might be. I would not go out an about bragging about my strength and intelligence, if I am wise then I would choose to be a little more modest, as who knows what might happen tomorrow. And then I do not find myself content with what I am, I always dream and speak and live in a way that is most conducive fro the fulfilment of my dreams. This I find is only logical in us that we are not all too logical about ourselves, that we all are somewhat idealist to a degree, and at times, very reserve and cautious in forming personal opinions, our opinions are our impressions and not the certain knowledge.

  3. That's hypocrisy!

  4. I'd love to say that I don't label myself sometimes.  But who am I kidding?  Of course I do.  Sometimes, it makes it more acceptable to everyone and makes it more understandable as to the kind of person you are.  For example, I'm g*y, but I don't "look" or "act" it.  I reject most aspects of g*y society but without another approach to utilize, labeling becomes an avenue of acceptance for the only one that can make this situation very, very clear - me.

  5. I call myself "The Bricklayer"-that is what I am.

  6. Hi,

People actually wanted to maintain a dignity even though not possesing will do like this. Instead of this people can work to acheive this instead of keeping on saying. Everybody should remember one thing. Life is uncertain and we don't what id going to happen next second. So people should try to concentrate on god and good things.

i was also like this and i have changed myself and following the above.

    Thanks & Regards,

Comments such as that are so often incorrect.

To say that Hitler was a Christian is just one tiny fact about him, not a definition of him.He was also just a man, and ne was also a murderer. I just call myself me
