Did you ever turn right/left before your turn because GPS said to do it causing you to crash or almost crash?

No... who would do that.. you are not a robot... it tells you turn but you stil need to pay attention and to know when you can make a turn!

Yes!  I am always expecting it to be 50 feet behind in its instructions.  I guess I'm just not calibrated.

I think GPS make the roads safer, because if a person is unfamilar with an area, he is more likely to make erratic turns and lane changes.

With GPS it will have you in the correct lane, allowing you to concentrate on the road and other drivers.

Nope, never had that problem.  I don't use a GPS to tell me how to go somewhere.  I learned to read a map as a kid, and that's still what I use.  Never been lost by using a map, never driven off a cliff because of a map, never driven down the wrong road because of a map.  That's all related to morons who think they need a computer to tell them how to get somewhere.  Just learn to read a map people and save yourself hundreds of dollars on that POS gps system that never works correctly.  A map costs a couple dollars, buy one learn to use it and get on with your life.  

So you must be one of those people that listen to everything you hear.  So your saying that if you were driving down a road and the GPS said turn left now, you would do so even if it turned you down a dead-end road headed for a cliff.

I love my Garmin 660...But a reality check is always in you best intrest.

I haven't had any experience with a GPS system, I would just like to say that anyone who blindly listens to anything telling them to turn should not be behind the wheel. It's ridiculous to think people are trying to blame a computer for their accident.
