Did you expect that USA vs Spain would be a tight game?

I wasn't expecting a blowout. In fact I cringed when I saw they had to play Spain again. It is difficult beating a good team twice.  So I would have preferred Lithuania.

i expected USA to control the whole game and just blow them out completely...worse than before

I expected a blowout but i am also glad that the usa won although they got quite careless.And it was Rudy Fernandez who dunked on Dwight Howard.

yes..rumor is that spain threw the first game against Team USA so they would play in the other bracket thus making their path to the gold medal game easier..

i wouldnt of expected such a big lead its the gold medal match so obviously both teams are going to be working their hardest.

but im pleased with the end result

No disrespect to Spain, but I didn't expect it to be a close game.  They just beat Spain by 30+ points, and Team USA is a much better team.  So you have to give Spain credit for their effort.  But at the end of the day, the better team won, and I'm glad that Gold is back where it belongs.

same. but the redeem team had foul trouble, so they couldnt do fast break. PLus they werent playing like a team. they were selfish like the game with Argentina. U saw Deron and Paul try to make lay ups while they could have given it to Bosh to dunk when it was fast break. and Pgs had some careless TOs. maybe they were nervous

not that tight, spain looked like a team that played together for 8 years in a row & the us looked like a team that played together for a few months, not really team play just relying on theyre raw talent, but it was a good game.
