Nope, not being sarcastic. For sure it's an eventful race in restrospect, but I dosed off several times during the race as it was long and slow and boring at times. All F1 fans know that Monaco tend to be the most boring race of the calendar. And oh, do I like F1? I was fortunate enough to witness Senna and Prost duel it out, and ever since then, I was hooked on F1. You can figure it out how many years I've been a loyal fan.

  1. No, I like to watch the cars and some battles.

  2. .

    No, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Check for other similar entries ad infinitum....

    .

  3. If you're sleeping through races, you dont sound much of a fan.  I thought it was a very entertaining race.

  4. I think it was an amazing race. A bit dissapointed about raikonen not having a charge for crashing out that force india driver. Other way round force india would've been fined a lot of money.

  5. I used to fall a sleep during a F1 race back in the days they were only shown early in the morning and only then because i was only young.

Monaco this year was far too exciting to fall a sleep to, maybe your not as big a fan as I am.

  6. Are you being sarcastic?

It was the best race of the season so far! It had crashes, sob stories, controversy and the best of all RAIN!

Do you even LIKE Formula One?!

    (ok, thats me told!)

  7. If your a fan of F1, the only way you could have fallen asleep is if somebody put a sedative in your drink.

The Monaco race was the 2nd best so far.

  8. No I didn't. Although it wasn't the edge of seat racing of old, I did enjoy it as it was eventful. With the return of slicks next year racing is slowly returning to what it should be, so hopefully you can stay awake during the 2009 race

  9. You know, normally I would agree with you. Monaco can be a bit of a boring race. At times, it has been a bit of a procession, being that it is very difficult to overtake. Sure it is always exciting to see how they navigate such a narrow street circuit at such high speeds, and seeing people crash, but it terms of a 'race' it can be boring.

But this year's GP was the best one for many many years.

  10. I agree with you that Monaco next to Hungary is one of the most boring race on the calendar. I have been watching f1 since the early 80's and I must say that there is nothing as exciting as seeing a race run on power circuits. I can't stand all the lookalike tracks that they run on nowadays. even with the rain you still can't overtake anybody because of the width of the track at Monaco.

  11. i wasn't expecting much from Monaco, one of those races where the pre race show is as entertaining as the race its self, but i have to say it turned out to be far more entertaining that i expected and i was pleasantly surprised

  12. Nope... Monaco has always been very interesting. Exciting races in fact. That's due to the nature of the circuit and the weather can wreck havoc as well. Sure it's not a very good place for overtaking but we get lots of action from drivers going off track, trying to get position and guessing the weather.

This year's race was very exciting as it always is. Ended in agony for Kimi and Sutil (or FOrce India) supporters though

  13. Monaco and Hungary both need to be removed from the calendar. Nuts to tradition! If you can't overtake then you don't have a race.
