Did you feel the Earthquake in the Midwest this morning?

bernie & i were watching TV (actually a taped Rachael Ray) i need to go back & get that receipe!!

then what we thought was a huge gust of wind, because the stuff near the window starting rattling

then the apt building started shaking, & the sofa was bouncin & i turned to him & said i think we're having a Earthquake, he was in the rocker, so he didn't feel it, i knew it wasn't the RAPTURE, because i wasn't moving upward LOL

there was an earthquake here 102 yrs ago within a half a hour of this one on this date!! Crazy

  3. Some people in Toronto, Canada actually felt it a little bit.

  4. The center was in West Salem Illinois.  5.4 at 5:38 est.  According to people who called/emailed our local news station this morning, it was felt in Iowa, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois & Indiana.  

    Yahoo News (AP) is saying Wisconsin also

    I felt it, at 5:39 est and I'm in Indianapolis

  5. Yes I felt the earthquake this morning,I live in IL. and it kind of freaked me out.

  6. Yeah, it woke me up at around 5:30 (our time)  I live in Central KY., near Fort Knox.  I thought it was Fort Knox shooting heavy artillery (They do that all the time and shake my house)  But this lasted too long (about 10 seconds)

  7. No, it was in Illinois and I'm in Ohio... the shocks didn't make it this far.

  8. i live in tennessee and my sis woke me up and asked if i felt a rumbling, but i didn't so that was weird, i wish i did i only felt two earthquakes before and they were minor
