I am in London

I only found out this morning it was an earthquake. My friend called me at 1am screaming and crying thinking an evil poltergeist was shaking her bed. So i had to go to her house to see her streaming with tears and a cross in her hand. She didn't sleep in the room that night but left the light on so the 'evil poltergiest' can leave. So funny :D

i thought it was a poltergiest aswell, im 21 but living at home at the moment and i ran into my mums room screamin that a poltergeist was shakin my bed and throwin things off my shelf! she laughed at me :-( lol! im in nottingham by the way so quite close to lincolnshire

i didnt feel it, i live in north london.however i am greek and i have lived through 2 BIG earthquakes, each between 6,5-7 on the richer scale with after shock starting at 5.5 that last two days...plus the light ones we get here and there of like 4-5 on the richter scale.

So i am sorry i have little sympathy for the Brits that are making such a bi deal out of a little movement!

Im up in greater manchester for the week looking after my new mum with 6 puppies!

Been up for about 37 hours..Was just about to lay down to have a rest, and bam! The whole house shook for about 5/10 seconds.. I was in disbelief and thought I was going nutts.. lol It didnt quite register till I looked on the news!! Im still amazed, my first earthquake!
