BHO was born out of wedlock to an eighteen year old girl. it's disputed whether his parents ever actually got married. So why are you Dems worried about another 17 year old pregnant girl?

Because in the civilized part of the USA where most of us live, 18 is ADULT age, but 17 is not.

At 17, you can't enter into a legally binding contract, at 18 you can.

At 17, you are a teenager, at 18 you are a teen age ADULT.

Do you see the established pattern? Also, at 17, she is still her mother's responsibility, so to those telling me that at 17, kids do what they want to do? I hope my son tells me that bit of info about at 17, kids...

That would be his first adult decision while living under my roof. He would be "trumped" by my ACE and reminded of how this family works. Are people saying that at 17, a mother and father should not know what their kids are up to, and with whom? Maybe THAT is the problem with America, parents stop being parents when their kids get their own friends.

Your assertion is inaccurate. As a matter of fact, Barack's parents were married in February, 1961, and Barack was born in August of 1961. True enough, Barack's parents engaged in premarital s*x, and his mother was pregnant when she got married. Barack was not illegitimate. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Firstly, I'm not 'worried' about a 17-year-old pregnant girl. I do find it interesting that she is the daughter of a political figure who has pushed very hard for abstinence-only education (obviously that didn't work out so well for her), but it's ultimately irrelevant to this election, just like Obama's own parentage. He didn't have any control over that, so why should it be an issue?

I don't think that most people are worried about the pregnancy of this girl... I think that they are wondering about McCain's vetting process and his judgement.

I am not a Democrat by the way... and I am concerned with McCain's judgement on this.  We have just had 8 years of a president running the office by gut instinct and rarely analyzing his own policies and the world around us.... I need to know that McCain will not govern like this.  So far, he has me  very concerned.
