Did you get wedding gifts after the wedding??

We just got married and there where a lot of people who did not bring gifts. Not that we are expecting them just some of the people I know asked about our registry but then did not bring anything?? Just wondering if anyone sends gifts after the wedding?? Thanks!

I haven't gotten married yet, but I would assume so. Etiquette says they have up to a year after the wedding to send a gift. Plus, I know I got a lot of gifts after my shower from people that didn't have a chance to get something earlier / had to wait for the next pay day / couldn't come to the shower / etc, so I would imagine that you'll get some wedding gifts after the fact too.

You might get a few gifts after the wedding in the first month or so, but probably not many.

I got one gift 2 weeks after our wedding, and it was just cash, if that helps.

You might get a few checks or gifts but nothing really big.

I am not married - however it is acceptable for invited guests to send gifts up to 30 days after the wedding.
